The purpose for this page is to communicate with the residence of Clinton City about the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program.
Do you want to be CERT trained?
The CERT program is a training course which helps citizens prepare for emergencies. This training consists of basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, disaster medical operations and Terrorism.
CERT is a volunteer program with is overseen by Citizen Corps. who is overseen by FEMA who is overseen by the U.S. Homeland Security who is overseen by the President of the United States.
The CERT course is taught at the city fire station throughout the year. Our next course will start on September 7th and is already full. See our training calendar for the full schedule.
