Councilmember Karen Peterson was first elected in November 2013. Prior to her service on the Council she was the Chair of the 2012-2013 General Plan Citizen?s Committee which worked to create a vision for Clinton City for the next 20 years. Karen serves as the Chamber of Commerce Representative, the Davis County Trails Committee Liaison, a Heritage Days Parade Coordinator and the Community Arts Board Liaison. In addition to serving on the City Council, Karen works as a policy specialist for Governor Gary Herbert. She is married to Eric Peterson and they have 3 children.
