[ARCHIVED] Public Works - Seasonal Workers Needed

Public Works Seasonal Maintenance Workers – open until filled; are generally scheduled 40 hours/week for a period of between 3 and 9 months depending on the position. They perform a wide variety of semi-skilled tasks involving the maintenance and repair for Public Works, Water, Storm Water, Sewer and Streets departments. Please indicate on application which department you are interested in.

Minimum Qualifications: Must be at least 16 years old; Must have physical strength sufficient to perform strenuous labor tasks under varying weather conditions; Good driving record and valid driver’s license required; Drug and Alcohol testing is required. The beginning salary for these positions may start at $9/hr but could be more based on experience and qualifications.
