2000 W Roadwork Completion

The cones will be up for just two more weeks — but there’s a good reason! Crews still need to paint the permanent lines on the road, and recent rainy weather delayed that work. Once the striping is complete, the cones will come down and traffic will be fully open.

We’re thrilled that both 2000 W and 1800 N now feature multi-use paths for pedestrians, cyclists, scooters, and rollerblades. Over time, we plan to connect all the paths together and even build a pedestrian bridge over 2000 W between Lowe’s and Discount Tire.

In Clinton, you’ll also notice vegetation planters and additional light poles along the roadway — adding both beauty and safety. Our flower baskets and seasonal banners will hang from these poles to celebrate our community and honor our veterans and service members.
