This is the final call for those interested in serving on the RAP (Recreation, Arts, Parks) Tax Committee. If you want to apply but have not already done so, please apply by Sunday, Nov. 10.
Members will join the newly formed RAP Tax Advisory Committee and provide input to the City Council on what the community would like the RAP Tax funds used for.
Residents 18 and older with experience and knowledge in recreation, arts, or parks are eligible to apply. The mayor will appoint members with the consent of the City Council on Nov. 12.
Members serve a two-year term and can serve up to three terms. Initial terms will be split between one and two years for staggered terms. Meetings will be held at least quarterly.
