Citizens are welcome to review the City Code, minutes of city meetings, and speak with city officials about current or upcoming issues. Citizens are always welcome to attend public meetings. The agendas for upcoming meetings are posted at the city offices on Fridays, posted on the City website, and also on the State’s website at: www.utah.gov/pmn/index.html. Public hearings are listed in the legal section of the Standard Examiner. A “Public Notice” sign with information regarding a public hearing is posted on property which may be affected by a land use issue.
City Council: The City Council generally meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. If you wish to make a request or present an item to the City Council, please contact the City Manager’s office at (801) 614-0720 a minimum of two weeks prior to the meeting.
Planning Commission: The Planning Commission meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month, with some exceptions. To present an item to the Land Use Authority, Planning Commission, or Board of Zoning Adjustments please contact the Community Development Department at (801) 614-0740. All land use applications shall be submitted to the Community Development Department a minimum of 30-days prior to the requested meeting date.
